How does it work?
Getting started takes three simple steps:
- Enable Plug & Charge: Activate it for your compatible Ford EV using the Ford app. Follow Ford’s instructions for your specific vehicle. See vehicle’s manufacturer guide for the latest information.
- Find a Mercedes-Benz Charging station**: Ford drivers can find Mercedes-Benz Charging stations using our station locator or their Ford vehicle’s built-in navigation system. See below for more info on station availability.
- Plug In and Charge: Simply plug in your Ford EV to the charger. Your vehicle and the charging station will automatically authenticate the session, and charging will begin without additional payment steps.

Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging stations offer flexible ways to connect your EV.
Every Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging station offers CCS cables and select stations also offer North American Charging Standard (NACS) cables, keeping your charging experience seamless.
Don’t see NACS at your station yet? No problem. Just bring your manufacturer-provided adapter and you’ll be ready to charge.

Plug & Charge is a feature that allows a compatible EV to automatically authenticate and pay for a charging session when it is connected to a participating charging station.
Yes. Ford Plug & Charge is available at participating Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging locations for compatible Ford EVs.** For further information, refer to your vehicle’s manufacturer’s guide.
First, make sure Plug & Charge is enabled for your compatible Ford EV and that your vehicle and the station support the feature. If you continue to have trouble, follow Ford’s troubleshooting guidance or contact our charging support.
To redeem a promotional discount code, you must tap your credit card at the card reader before plugging in. Then simply plug in your vehicle and charging will begin. Learn more on how to redeem promo codes here.
